python-apipkg software package provides namespace control and lazy-import mechanism for Python, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-apipkg
python-apipkg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-apipkg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-apipkg *
You will get with python-apipkg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
